Getting started
What do you need from me?
A few basics: what you do, your prices, your hours, some photos and your logo if you have one. I'll send you a simple form so nothing gets missed.
How long does it take?
About 7 days once I have your info: your services, prices, photos and logo.
Do I need photos?
Real photos work best: your work, your team or your shop. Phone photos are fine. I'll tell you exactly what to take.
Do I need a logo?
No. If you don't have one, I'll set your business name in a clean, simple style.
Do you work outside Kelowna?
Yes. I work with businesses across the Okanagan and can meet in person.
Can I update the site myself?
You don't have to. On the care plan, just text me the change. If you opt out, the site is yours, and changes need a web developer. I can also help: $50 covers up to 3 small changes sent together.
Money
How much does a website cost in Kelowna?
I charge $400 for a one-page website, $500 for multi-page and $800 with products. Every feature is included, and you pay only once you're happy with it.

See full pricing →What's included?
All the words, any features that fit your business, basic Google setup, your domain connected, and a site that looks great on phones.
When do I pay?
Only once you've seen your finished site and you're happy with it.
Is there a deposit?
No. You pay nothing until you approve your website.
What if I don't like it?
You don't pay for it. Ask for as many changes as you like. If it's still not right, you walk away and owe nothing.
How do I pay?
The website is paid by Interac e-Transfer. The care plan is a monthly automatic payment through Square, starting after your free first month.
Do you charge GST?
No. The price you see is the price you pay.
Why are your prices lower than big agencies?
I'm one person working from Kelowna, and I use modern tools that let me build quickly. You're not paying for an office or a sales team.
Ownership & upkeep
Who owns my website?
That's your choice. On the care plan, I keep your website, domain and hosting under my accounts and manage it all for you. If you'd rather hold it yourself, you can opt out any time. You set up a free hosting account, and I transfer your website and domain into your name.
What's a domain?
Your web address, like yourbusiness.ca. It costs about $25 a year. If I buy it for you, you pay what it costs. No markup. On the care plan, I renew it for you. If you opt out, I transfer it into your name.
What's hosting?
The computer that stores your website and shows it to visitors, 24/7. On the care plan, I handle it.
What does the care plan include?
For $60 a month, I renew your domain, handle your hosting and Google Search Console (Google's tool for showing up in searches), and make unlimited small changes, each done within 2 business days. Your first month is free.
What counts as a small change?
Anything that takes me under about 30 minutes, like new photos, new hours or prices, social media links, a new description, or a new service or product. Bigger jobs are quoted first.
What if something breaks after launch?
For the first 30 days, I fix it free, whether you're on the care plan or not.
What if a payment is late?
I'll send a friendly reminder. At 30 days late, your site shows a "temporarily unavailable" page until it's sorted.
What if I cancel the care plan?
You can cancel any time with 2 weeks' notice, and there's no fee. You set up a free hosting account, and I transfer your website and domain into your name and make sure everything works. After that, you handle changes yourself, or I can help: $50 covers up to 3 small changes sent together.
What's a Google Business Profile?
It's your listing on Google Maps and in Google search: your hours, photos, reviews and a button to call you. For local businesses, it's often the first thing customers see. I can set it up for $50 on the care plan, or $125 without.
How do I get more Google reviews?
Ask happy customers right after the job. I'll give you a short link (and a QR code) that takes them straight to your review page, so it takes them 30 seconds.
Will I show up on Google?
I set up everything Google needs to find and understand your site: page titles, descriptions and your business details. A new site usually takes a few days to a few weeks to appear. No honest person can promise you'll be #1, but a good site plus a Google Business Profile is the best start there is.
